Organisations

An Organisation on Salt holds Accounts and Policies that are managed by Owners, and includes other collaborators and Robo Guardians.

The person who creates the organisation is automatically an Owner in the organisation. Organisations can also have participants at other access levels. The current access levels are owner, member, agent.

At the Organisation level sit:

• collaborators' access levels
• Robo Guardians

This means that the access levels and Robo Guardians are valid and relevant for every Account in an Organisation.

Within Organisations are Accounts, which hold assets.

At the Accounts level:

• signers are set per account
• policies are set per account (and per asset)

Each Organisation has a unique ID, which an SDK user can use to do certain tasks. This can be queried using the getOrganisations API endpoint.
